How we use your information

We use your information in a number of different ways — we use your information for quotation and invoicing purposes, we use the below:

Your name, contact details such as telephone numbers and email address as well as your home/site address. We will also send you a link from CheckaTrade to leave us a review.

When you request a quotation from us, we need your name so we know who to address the quotation to. We use your contact details to send quotations via email and we’ll give you a call to discuss the quotation with you and if you had any feedback. We will, prior to the quotation being sent, require you full home address in order to attend an appointment.. Sometimes we may need to have paint/materials delivered to site by one of our trusty suppliers – this means we will have to share your home/site address with them. We may also require scaffolding for exterior works so again, they would need to be given your home/site address.

Your payment information

We only accept bank transfers or cheques so we do not have any of your payment information.

 Keeping your information

We’ll hold on to your information for as long as is needed if you are a regular customer or no longer then 3 years if you had a quotation from us and decided to not go ahead.


All account information is stored on password protect devices which only the company directors have access to.

Your rights

You have a lot of rights relating to your personal information:

  • The right to be informed about how your personal information is being used (all included in The Privacy Policy you are reading now)

  • The right to access the personal information we hold about you ie any quotations/invoices we have sent to you previously

  • The right to request the correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you ie change in home address or contact number

  • The right to request that we delete your data, please note by deleting your data, we will lose all quotations/invoices so we will not be able to obtain this if you require this in the future

  • The right to stop direct marketing messages, this isn’t something we do very often so don’t worry about loads of messages.

  • The right to complain to your data protection regulator — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office

Changes to how we Protect Your Privacy

We may change this page from time to time, to reflect how we are processing your data.

If we make significant changes, we will make you aware of this by email. Otherwise, any minor updates will be put straight on the website.

We always want to hear from our customers (especially if you feel we’ve let you down or could do better). If we have done an amazing job (which we usually do, you will receive a link from CheckaTrade to leave us a review)
